The breakfast was top notch you will not be disappointed, grab the tables facing out toward Fuji. At 7:30 pm we went to the restaurant for dinner and they refused us the access as we should have booked before 4pm, which you can imagine was not possible as we arrive at 5pm. Perhaps because it was winter, during my use of the public bath, there were only 3 people max using it (this may be due to the times in which I went: 6 am, 3pm, 8pm).Dinner was very nice. The hotel has both public and private onsen and all are clean and well maintained. It seems to me that they Japanese still do not have enough, the onsens (public and private) were absolute delight. Walk down the steep driveway make a right to the light then a left and there are several along the lake, its about a 15 min stroll. While you're there stock up on some snacks (or before arriving) as there are no stores next to hotel, but with the amazing dinner, free snack in bar from 6-7pm and free late night ramen at 10:30pm, vending machines, you are well covered. I took the locals bus back to stop #19, which you could catch going either way. We stayed for 2 days, and it was a delightful experience.
